Overnight Camp – Week 4 (Kids on the Move)
Word of Life Camp
- When: June 23 - June 28th, 2024
- Leave: Approximately 12:00 pm Sunday, June 23rd
- Return: Approximately 12:00 noon Friday, June 28th
- Deposit: $99; Balance due by: May 31st
Please do not register your child through the Word of Life website. We have camper spots already reserved for Movement Church, and so we will register your child after you sign them up through us. The sign-up links below will go active on March 6th!
As camp draws near, we will create a closed Facebook page for our group. We will use this to post LOADS and LOADS of pictures once we are up at camp, and we will also use it for any reminders or announcements of different fundraisers or due dates.

Ready to sign up with our group? We have a new online process! Click on the button below beginning March 6th to fill it out. That, along with your deposit, will secure your child’s spot with our group!
When we register as a group, we are able to group the kids together in cabins (if their ages are similar). Have more questions about camp? Send us an email, and we’d love to talk to you about it!
Paying for Camp
Camp is $390, and the deposit to secure your child’s spot is $99. This is put towards your balance. Our camp fundraiser will reduce the amount of camp for every child – the final discount will be decided based on funds raised. Do not let the price of camp deter you from signing up your child. We will help you send them!
Payments: We register as a group, and place our kids together as much as we can, depending on their ages. Therefore, you pay Movement Church, and then Movement Church pays the camp. A deposit of $99 is required to secure your child’s spot. The deposit and all other payments go through us as well, and are made online. If you cannot do online payments, please scroll to the bottom of this page and send us an email!
Word of Life Scholarships: PLEASE try for a scholarship from Word of Life, and try early! They are generous, and consider extenuating circumstances like medical bills or other un-budgeted costs that may be affecting your ability to pay. However, they do run out of funds at some point. Again, we encourage you to do this early! Even for full scholarships, Word of Life requires the parent to at least pay the deposit of $99. During the sign up process, one of the questions will ask if you would like to try for the WOL Scholarship. Use the drop-down menu to answer “Yes” or “I want more information.”
Other Scholarships: We have found our congregation to be very generous! There are several families that usually ask us if anyone needs help paying for camp. If you tried for a Word of Life scholarship and were not approved, please let us know of your need – we will do all we can to help your child go to camp!
